Keiron Cobban
Keiron Cobban has years of experience working at the intersection of sport and art with a focus on their impacts on community development. He has an academic background in Kinesiology (B.A.) from Western University, Sport and Event Marketing (Post-Graduate Certificate) from George Brown College, and Development Studies (M.A.) from York University. His main interest has led him to design and implement marketing campaigns for various organisations, generally with an interest in building more just and equitable cities. His first solo photography exhibition, 'hoops', was held in Toronto in February of 2020 at CryBaby Gallery. This show examined the interconnections of sport and culture and reimagines spaces of leisure as places of expression and beauty. Today, he continues to find inspiration in the exploration of the unglamorous, everyday aspects of places and cultures as he walks Vancouver in search of the finest things it offers for locals.
