VanWeddings Inc. is one of our favorite wedding photographers in Vancouver.
The fact that they won the “2020 Winner at Professional BC Wedding Awards” and were featured on WedLuxe and Maharani Weddings is impressive. This shows their reliability in the industry, in our opinion.
Even if they’re based in Vancouver, it’s also amazing that their services are available internationally.
Their big portfolio of beautiful wedding photos and videos that show their wide range of work is also fantastic. This is composed of different cultures, so we think they won’t have a hard time adjusting to any wedding theme.
It’s valuable that they don’t have cookie-cutter packages with pre-set hours either. They personalize their services so that each wedding is unique and memorable.
But if their services seem overwhelming, they can still provide photography and videography packages for you to see their services one by one.
We like their next-day edits because this allows them to be creative while being efficient. The quality is also set to 1080p for the best experience.
However, they also have some limitations. Make sure to communicate and manage your expectations, since they only provide a 3 to 5-minute highlight video – in case you prefer a longer edit.

Vivian was an amazing photographer to work with! She demonstrates her passion for helping couples capture beautiful moments together while tying it all together as a story. Vivian was fun to work with even for my husband and I who are a little bit camera shy, and Vivian helped us feel very comfortable with taking all the pictures. Vivian was also very proactive in helping us build the wedding day schedule; I could tell that she really put in the time to review, to ask questions, and to understand the timeline so she could be organized and could stay on top of capturing all the important moments throughout the day. Helps You Feel Comfortable in the Process
We really love Vivian’s bright and natural photography style and our experience with Vivian has been so fun! She has a great eye for detail and made us feel so comfortable during our photo sessions. We had a lot of fun taking our engagement photos at Belcarra Park despite the fact that both my husband and I are quite camera shy. Outside of just taking our photos, Vivian dedicated a lot of time meeting with us virtually to go over wedding day details and timelines, so that we would be able to capture the best photos on the day of. As a bride who did not have any wedding planning experience, I really appreciated all of her guidance and helpful tips!
On our wedding day, Vivian was great at directing us for the bridal party and group photos. We were able to get all the photos we wanted, at all the different locations, without any rush because she had planned everything with us so well beforehand!
Overall, our experience with Vivian has been very pleasant. My husband and I were looking for a photographer who could not only take great photos, but also help us feel comfortable in the process.
