Stepping into a space that seamlessly blends Slavic and Nordic traditions with a modern West Coast feel sets a completely different mood.
AetherHaus nails this vibe, mixing a Himalayan salt sauna with group cold plunge pools and a dedicated tea lounge for a highly hospitable experience.
I love how they focus heavily on guest care instead of just pushing performance, giving it a polished, premium edge.
They offer everything from silent self-guided circuits to fully customized private sessions with catering. You even get towels, shower products, and secure lockers right off the bat, so you only need your swimsuit.
The only small catch is the limited street parking nearby, but the valet option easily solves that.
Beautiful sauna and cold plunge spot
Beautiful sauna and cold plunge spot in the west end. Was here for a private session and enjoyed every minute. Communal locker and change room before stepping into the space – showers, washrooms, two big cold plunges, huge sauna, lounge area with tea. Sauna took a while to get really hot but it was really nice once up to temperature.

Excellent sauna and cold plunge experiences
I’ve had excellent sauna and cold plunge experiences at AetherHaus. The sauna space is spacious and beautifully lit, creating a calm, relaxing atmosphere. The guides are friendly and welcoming, and the whole place has great energy.
Nice touches like frozen grapes and eucalyptus towels really elevate the experience, and there’s a variety of sessions to choose from depending on what you’re looking for/what kind of experience you want.
Thoughtfully run and highly recommended.

Craving fresh air while you sweat and freeze entirely changes the wellness game. The Good Sauna stands out by offering a unique outdoor Finnish sauna, a crisp cold plunge, and a cozy communal campfire area right in the city.
During my last visit, sitting around the fire with a complimentary tea after freezing in the plunge felt incredibly refreshing and social.
They use original Harvia wood-burning stoves to keep the heat perfect for their structured, three-part hot and cold cycle.
Plus, they operate right at Container Brewing, so grabbing a post-plunge beer in the taproom is heavily encouraged.
Just keep in mind they don’t offer complimentary robes yet, so definitely pack warm layers for hanging out by the fire.
I’ll definitely be coming back
What an amazing experience at the Good Sauna. This was my first time getting the full sauna/cold plunge experience and I’ll definitely be coming back. Really great vibe at the Good Sauna and Container brewing on a late summer night. Ruby, the sauna “concierge” was a pleasure to deal with, and kept the sauna cooking. 5/5

The sauna and cold plunge leave you feeling completely reset
I absolutely love the Good Sauna. It’s such a peaceful, welcoming place to spend an afternoon or evening. The staff are truly exceptional—Ruby in particular went above and beyond and took care of me in a way that meant so much during a time I really needed it.
The sauna and cold plunge leave you feeling completely reset. I bring everyone who visits me here—it’s that special.

Escaping the busy streets to find a secluded space feels like finding a secret oasis. Ritual Urban Retreat takes things up a notch by hosting their cedar sauna and cold plunge experience on a beautiful rooftop.
They focus on a highly structured five-step Ritual Cycle that intentionally moves you through breathwork, cold exposure, heat, and rest.
This studio is perfect for small groups, as the sauna comfortably holds up to eight people for a more intimate vibe. And since it’s part of a larger wellness space, you can easily pair your contrast therapy with Pilates or sound healing.
However, because the sauna is smaller, it can fill up quickly and might not suit large gatherings.
Beautiful, clean, bright space with some of the best classes I’ve ever experienced
RUN don’t walk to Ritual. Beautiful, clean, bright space with some of the best classes I’ve ever experienced. Dave Gu’s Breathwork class is bliss, cycling with Jamie is the best start to the day and the sound healing is an amazing immersive journey. With yoga and strength classes too it’s a unique place with so many modalities under one roof. Tacking a sauna and cold plunge on to any visit makes this spot the ultimate wellness destination in the city!

Clean, restful, incredible customer service, and a serene space
Came in on a cloudy afternoon for the cold plunge and sauna experience. Clean, restful, incredible customer service, and a serene space tucked away amongst the busy city. It’s everything you want for a peaceful and restorative afternoon.
Dave is incredibly kind and the reviews here are a testament to the great community created by Ritual Urban. Can’t recommend enough and excited to come back and try the classes. Easily a new favourite spot in Downtown Vancouver.

Finding a facility that actually gives you options for just how freezing you want to get is a massive relief for beginners and pros alike.
Tevah Wellness boasts a huge 725-square-foot red cedar sauna and three different cold-plunge pools sitting at 4°C, 8°C, and 12°C.
A friend of mine went recently and raved about the cold-water body jets, saying they completely woke up her tired muscles.
Their sauna holds up to 60 people and uses four seating tiers so you can easily pick your perfect heat level.
You can also jump into a coach-led mobility class here or just chill in a self-guided 90-minute Free Flow session.
You do have to remember to bring indoor sandals though, as they’re strictly required for the entire experience.
A spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately clean space
I took my husband here to celebrate his birthday. 10/10 Experience! A spacious, beautifully designed and immaculately clean space to reconnect & relax. Sauna here is massive with more than enough space for all the guests to stretch out. We loved that they have 3 different temperature cold plunge pools because my husband is new to cold dipping & was reluctant to start too cold. Delicious ginger turmeric tea. Attentive staff. They even gave him a personal birthday note & present! Thank you Tevah for making this day so special. Best Sauna + Cold Plunge in Vancouver 🫶

The best place to be
My bf and I have been coming to Tevah since the opening, and it has since become on of our beloved rituals to slow down, reconnect and recharge. The space is designed to make the flow intuitive, is very welcoming and the wonderful, courteous, professional and personable staff members keep it meticulously clean ( looking at you, Carlos!). Having been to just about every sauna/cold plunge in Vancouver and North Shore – Tevah is the best place to be.

5. Kolm Kontrast

Hours: Monday-Sunday, 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
Sometimes you just want to combine extreme temperatures with an upbeat, social atmosphere rather than sitting in silence.
Kolm Kontrast delivers exactly that with a large 50-person social sauna operating at up to 90°C and intensely cold 0–4°C ice baths. They offer incredibly unique After Hours experiences with lower lighting, higher music, and a really lively vibe.
The studio also provides fantastic recovery amenities, including private shower stalls, secure lockers, and a dedicated tea lounge for post-session chatting. You can even dive into deep stretching or sound healing during their specialized guided sessions.
Be extra careful about your arrival time, though, as their strict late-entry policy can lead to you being turned away.
I love the space
I checked out Kolm on Cambie & 8th yesterday. It’s more than I anticipated. It takes you away on a mini vacation! I love the space – the cold plunge baths, tealounge, sauna, showers, all of it. It’s very clean & maintained. The live sound bowls in a sauna is otherworldly. My guide was Lyn Sykari. She’s such an exceptional and talented sound ceremonialist. Stu checked me in, they are very friendly and have a good vibe. I’ll be returning. If you’re hesitant, just make that reservation! As a first timer, they give great instruction to how it all works.
