How to Get to Atchelitz Pioneer Village?

Atchelitz Pioneer Village is located in the small community of Atchelitz in Chilliwack, at 44146 Luckakuck Way, right next to Chilliwack Heritage Park, known for hosting the annual Chilliwack Fair & Rodeo and other seasonal events.

If you’re coming from Vancouver, take the Trans-Canada Highway to Chilliwack, then take Exit #116 to merge onto Lickman Road. At the roundabout, take the third exit onto Luckakuck Way, then take the first right to enter the village property.

The Atchelitz Pioneer Village is a collection of antique buildings, engines, and farming machinery, along with many other fascinating artifacts.

In the main building, you’ll find a variety of perfectly restored items from the past that you can see and touch – from furniture and dishware to photo cameras and ornately decorated full-sized carriages! 

Another building even houses a full-sized steam engine used on a steamship over 100 years ago!

The largest building on site is the Pioneer Building, a museum showcasing a variety of historical displays. It features old furniture and a warehouse filled with vintage machines, household items, and more!

The range of equipment is extensive, with some pieces dating back over one hundred years and others from the late 1900s.

Atchelitz Pioneer Village is more than just a place to see antiques, but it also has rooms and buildings that you can rent out for whatever you have planned. Whether it be a picnic, meeting, gathering, or even a wedding shoot!

There’s also a working kitchen available on site, which is a nice bonus for larger events so you can easily cater food for your guests without having to transport it from another location.

Atchelitz is totally family-friendly and one of the most fun activities for kids in Chilliwack! In the little plaza on the main village street, there’s a playground with antique toys – real vintage kids’ cars and tractors!

Inside the main building museum, you’ll find a large model railroad with many trains running. Right next to it, there’s a model showing how the train tracks are built, so kids can look inside and learn about the process of making model railroads.

Cookies Grill’s menu offers a delightful variety, with so many tempting options that it’s hard to choose. While the exterior may look a bit unusual, don’t let that deceive you – this place is definitely worth a visit.

We savored the chicken and waffles eggs Benedict, which was incredibly tasty, and the mushroom Swiss burger, which was absolutely mouthwatering. Be sure to try the gravy, too – it’s a must-have!

Quesada is conveniently located in the same complex as Save On Foods and Starbucks near Chilliwack’s Cottonwood Mall. The store is bright and welcoming, thanks to its numerous windows.

We tried the $7.99 pork burrito of the day, and it was absolutely delicious! The toppings were fresh, and there were plenty of sauce options to choose from.

This place has fantastic people and an impressive menu, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a round of golf. You can enjoy a beer or a non-alcoholic drink while watching the golf community in action.

We highly recommend the Chicken Sandwich – it’s excellent, with a nice bun and tangy sauce. And the fries were so good, they’ll definitely have us coming back for more.

When it comes to pizza, Yummy Slice Pizza offers an incredible variety of choices. Their pizza is absolutely delicious, with a crispy crust and flavorful toppings every time.

We fell in love with their creamy garlic pasta. We also couldn’t get enough of their sundae ice creams in strawberry, vanilla, and chocolate.

Boston Pizza is a great spot for both pizza and pasta lovers. Their menu offers a wide variety of options to suit every taste.

We recommend trying the lamb when it’s available, as it’s a standout dish that’s not always on the menu. Be sure to check the daily deals posted at the door for some great offers.

Everything for sale at Anita’s Organic Mill Store is organic, including all their flours and baking products. They offer a great range of fresh, local, organic produce, as well as dairy, meat, and other pantry items.

The bakery, though limited in options, produces fantastic quality items that taste delicious. We would also recommend the deli sandwiches – they were fresh, well-made, and tasted fantastic.

Located near Chilliwack’s Herridge Show Park on the outskirts of town, this lovely little market offers a wonderful variety of local produce. It’s a fantastic spot for natural foods and features excellent Anita’s products. 

They have bulk bins filled with organic sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, and a wide range of grains. They also showcase specialties like delicious homemade Chocolate Sourdough Bread and unique items such as Water Buffalo Milk.
