Since 2003, Survivor Fitness has been hosting fitness boot camps year-round. They’ve marked out different workout zones on the ground, with plenty of trees all around and even a shaded spot for those rainy days.
We appreciated how they offered the option for clients to participate either online or in person, giving everyone more flexibility. It’s also cool that they mix up their classes from day to day to keep things exciting.
The variety of workouts here at Survivor Fitness also caught our attention, as their instructors will accommodate all fitness levels and modify exercises as needed.
Actually, Daniela, the trainer, makes sure no two workouts are alike. It’s also worth noting her credentials – she’s been a trainer since 2007, specializing in group fitness and weight training.
We’re just a bit bummed that you’d have to bring your own weights and yoga mat, as we would’ve loved to see a fully equipped facility. Nevertheless, we find it reasonable, especially considering their membership rates are quite budget-friendly.
Ultimately, we think Survivor Fitness offers one of the best fitness boot camps in Vancouver. They provide both in-person and online classes where they cater to all fitness levels and goals.
Pros
- Provides in-person and online classes

Ultrafit is all over the place, with various locations in North Vancouver and Kitsilano. They’ve been around since 2003, and they offer more than 10 classes every week, all held in different outdoor spots, which perhaps is what sets them apart.
If you’re joining in Kitsilano, expect to enjoy classes on the beach or in nearby parks, while in North Vancouver, you’ll have the opportunity to exercise amidst stunning mountain views.
The thing we liked the most here is the structure of the program, as it allows for a well-rounded and balanced workout. Their 75-minute classes are a combination of running, strength training, and core work.
We also appreciated the fact that on Tuesdays, they also include group runs and a circuit strength class. In our opinion, this variety of workouts keeps things interesting.
While this all may sound intimidating, we found out that here at Ultrafit, they welcome all ages and abilities, so you can do the workouts at your own pace.
We just wish they provided the necessary equipment, like yoga mats and dumbbells. However, we did like that they also offer personal training for those who prefer 1:1 workout sessions.
All in all, if you’re searching for one of the best fitness boot camps in Vancouver that switches up outdoor locations, we recommend Ultrafit.

Right in the heart of Gastown is Kalev Fitness Solution. They’ve got this boutique fitness facility where they offer personal training, fitness classes, and boot camps.
Fitness boot camps here are held indoors and outdoors, like in the local park. What we liked the most about them is that they offer a wide variety of boot camp workout styles: Tabata HIT, Body Reboot, and XXXtreme Abs.
These workouts are each led by specialized trainers, which we liked. For us, this ensures that each class is led by an expert who can provide proper guidance and support.

Founded in 1997, Innovative Fitness started as a personal training studio before becoming a full-service fitness company that provides a wide range of fitness services and programs.
We think that they’re ideal for those who are planning or training to become athletes, as instructors here at Innovative Fitness all specialize in a specific sport.
In our opinion, we believe this sets them apart as they’re able to provide targeted programs for each individual’s athletic goals. But hey, if you prefer a less intense workout, they’re also pretty flexible.
We also found it unique that they’ve got a ‘Beyond Nutrition’ program where you get to consult with a nutrition coach to discuss your dietary needs and goals. We think this approach proves their holistic method of fitness and wellness.
We’re just a bit taken aback by their rates, but we think their impressive facilities compensate for the higher cost. They have top-tier equipment and spa-like amenities that make the workout experience even more convenient.
