After having our gardens landscaped with a good mix of ornamental grasses and blooming flowers, we noticed how great it looked during the daytime. However, even us couldn’t notice how beautiful it was since we only had two lights open on our porch.

IntuLight is one of the go-to outdoor lighting providers for events in Vancouver. We knew about them when we attended our friends’ garden wedding, and made sure to save their number for future use.
Well, we’re glad we did as we needed their expertise for our parents’ anniversary party. Since we wanted something intimate, a creative lighting setup will make the simple venue more romantic and thoughtful.
We loved seeing the big old trees in the backyard lit up. They also made sure that our patio had enough lights since that served as our parents’ main stage.
Another thing that we liked about them was the subtle outdoor lighting placements such as the small lanterns lined up on the pathway. So even if we’re in our formal attires, ladies in heels were confident to walk without worrying about tripping.
A few months later, we called them again to have our Christmas outdoor lights installed. So if you’re unsure about which lights to install come holiday season, you’ll love that they can help you design that too.
However, they might recommend a permanent installation instead of seasonal lights. So if you prefer a different setup during Christmas, just be vocal about it.

After watching too many crime shows on TV (oh we know, you do too!), we decided to replace the flickering lights at the porch, and install an additional outdoor lighting system on our driveway.
When our friend mentioned the safety and security lights systems of Cypress Landscape Lighting, we immediately thought that they could be the one we’re looking for.
And true enough, aside from making your outdoor spaces glow, they specifically strategize on how to create more visibility and safety to your home.
Upon calling them, they asked us to send a photo of our entire place during daytime and nighttime. You should also be ready to take photos of your street, including the nearby lamp posts so they can fully assess the existing outdoor lighting in your area.
Another thing that impressed us was the discreet lighting around our CCTVs. We noticed clearer footage, which gave us more peace of mind.
We also appreciate the detailed proposal Luke sent us. It even had photos of the outdoor lights they wish to install, including an accurate quotation based on our working budget.
Once you accept their proposal, you can expect them to schedule the installation within three to four days. So if you’re in a rush, they’re the ideal contractor to contact.
Meanwhile, if you’re tired of switching your outdoor lights on or off (or keep on forgetting to turn them off before going to sleep, just like us), you’ll love that they provide a new transformer with an automatic timer too.

If you’re just like us who wants to see products in person (a.k.a. window shopping!) before committing, then you’ll love that there’s a showroom for outdoor and indoor lights that you can check around Vancouver.
It’s an ideal option if you’re working on the lighting system for your entire home as you only need to visit one shop for your requirements.
We also had fun going around the store as someone’s always available to explain the products without making us feel that we should be pressured into buying them just because we started asking questions.
On top of that, they never pushed us to buy the expensive options. Instead, their recommendations were based on our outdoor space’s requirements.
We were originally looking for lights for our backyard stairs, but because of their staff’s friendly assistance, we ended up walking out with ideas for our pantry, kitchen, and gates.

Since they’re open on a Saturday, we decided to walk in to look for wall-mounted lights for our outdoor space. We didn’t even expect to walk out with everything we needed, but luckily, this store has a great inventory.
Another thing that we liked about this store is that they have several minimalist lights for both indoor and outdoor. Even their chandeliers look sleek, making them a perfect match for homes with modern touches.
