Her extensive training and education in counseling and psychotherapy impressed us the most. Robin is also a registered holistic nutritionist, which we think complements her services nicely.

Natasha Rohani has a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology. She continues to go through training to cater to individual client needs.

She takes a more collaborative and client-centered approach to counseling. In our opinion, this is ideal for both parties to engage in a genuine conversation about their goals.

We believe this clinic is ideal for people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) because it provides Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, which is an effective treatment for PTSD.

Natasha also specializes in Somatic therapy, couples counseling, psychedelic-assisted therapy, and integration.

We felt it was important to mention that her sessions are relatively expensive. We also wish they were open on weekends to serve their customers better.

Even so, we thought it was convenient that she provides both in-person and online therapies because some clients may find it difficult to travel to her office or for other personal reasons.

Natasha offers 50-minute and 80-minute sessions, which costs around CAD 200 to CAD 300.

The vast majority of customers we’ve spoken with have praised her services because she is both knowledgeable and professional.

Individual counseling with Alycia costs CAD 175 per 50-minute session, while couples and group counseling costs CAD 190.

Gather and Ground Wellness also provides corporate employees and clients with psycho-educational workshops and training. They provide training in communication skills, conflict resolution in the workplace, and many other topics.

The majority of the customers we spoke with expressed their delight in working with Alycia. Most clients mentioned how empathic and supportive she is and how she adds value to their conversations.

Customer Reviews

Warm and supportive counselor

“Working with Alycia has been such a wonderful experience. She’s warm, empathic, supportive, and honest, and she’s been a brilliant support during the months we’ve worked together. I’ve also really appreciated how real she is in sessions — she’s not afraid to point out my blind spots or use some humour within sessions. Our sessions all take place online (as I’m in Toronto and she’s in Vancouver), but that hasn’t affected the quality of our sessions at all. I’d highly recommend G&G!.” -Kenza M.

Very easy to talk to and insightful

“I cannot say enough about how valuable working with Alycia/Gather & Ground has been. Her approach is empathetic but she’s there with the tough truth when I need to hear it. She’s given me practical tools that I use between sessions. She’s incredibly easy to talk to and I love the insight and knowledge she brings to our conversations as I work on myself. I know the rest of the team offers a similar approach and I’ve sent a close friend their way with no hesitation. If you’re considering working with a counsellor, highly highly recommend the G&G team.” -Chelsea W.

Myriam has worked in the health and wellness field for nearly ten years, which we believe qualifies her to work with a diverse range of clients. She can speak English and French.

While she has a broad range of interests, Myriame is particularly interested in several specific fields. This includes anxiety, depression, grief and loss, burnout, trauma, life transitions, and personal growth.

Myriame is unique in that she offers workshops and presentations to support groups and other organizations. She discusses grief and loss, role changes, mood changes in chronic illnesses, and many other topics.

Individual counseling sessions cost between CAD 130 and CAD 145, and clients can choose to have their sessions in-person or via video call.

What we liked best about her mental health services was how detailed they were. Myriame provides dedicated counseling sessions that we believe are ideal for addressing various issues of individuals.

Now, we’re a little disappointed that they’re closed on weekends, as we believe this limits their availability. They also only have two counselors available, but we don’t think this impacts the quality of their services.

Despite that, we think Myriame Lyons is one of the best psychotherapists in Vancouver for her extensive background and skills in health and wellness.

She’s been my favourite counsellor by far.” -Kassia H.
