A week ago, he said that his boat was starting to look a little worn out. Think of water spots and the interior looking dull due to salt and sun. He asked me to find a boat detailing service in Vancouver. Not a luxury service, just someone dependable.
So, together with my The Best Vancouver team, we searched and asked around for some boat detailing services. Check out these companies offering reliable and high-quality work that really know what they’re doing.
How much does boat detailing cost in Vancouver?
A boat detailing in Vancouver costs at least $25 per linear foot. Some companies offer detailing packages priced at $10 to $20 per foot. However, it still depends on the boat size and the level of detail the vessel requires.

Unique Detailing is an award-winning company specialising in automobile detailing in Vancouver. Their 20 years of professional detailing also give us confidence in their work.
They’re certified installers of Revivify coatings and Ceramic Pro, too. This is great since we know that they’re working with some of the best products in the market.
Speaking of products, what impressed us the most was their use of eco-friendly premium products. This just shows that they care about their clients and the environment.
For their boat detailing, they have a boat wash, interior detailing, and marine gelcoat protection. We find that a good range, as it pretty much covers what you need to get your boat shining again.
We also love that they offer mobile detailing, making it easier and hassle-free for customers to get their boats detailed in Vancouver. They’re efficient too, with many sharing that the team quickly went to the marina and installed paint protection film.
Pricing-wise? We think that they have reasonable pricing at $25 per linear foot (boat wash, polish, and wax).
Unfortunately, a person had a concerning experience with one of the company’s drivers. He said he saw the truck speeding and cutting people off in a Tesla Model Y with their logo on it.

Something worth highlighting about this company is that they do mobile repair and maintenance. However, they are also honest that while they do mobile services, they prefer to work in their well-equipped shop.
With this in mind, expect to bring your vessel to their home base. This could cost you additional fees when transporting your boat.
On the bright side, their boat detailing services are comprehensive. They offer bottom paint, gel coat repair, and anode replacement. This makes them a one-stop shop for boat owners who want to keep their marine vessels in good shape.
For instance, a boat owner said that he doesn’t know much about boat repair, but he felt he was in good hands with the company. The team was able to fix a train wreck on his Boston Whaler.
Another boat owner said that the team did an incredible job on his boat. He mentioned that he was able to gain 8 to 10 knots in his top speed after the service. He also noted that the service is of high quality and fairly priced, with no hidden surcharges.

Boost Mobile Detailing is a professional mobile auto detailing company you can quickly find in Vancouver. They bring their detailing services to your location, so you don’t have to worry about transporting your vessel.
What we also like is that they have a wide service area. Aside from Vancouver, they also serve nearby cities, like Richmond, Delta, and Surrey.
Another plus for us is that they have an online booking service. You can book on their mobile app and get 30% off. If you choose to book at their physical shop, they still offer discounts (20% off), which is still a good thing.
Some of their boat detailing services include deep cleaning, gel coating, and ceramic coating application. They also use environmentally friendly products that won’t harm marine life.
For their service, clients are satisfied with how punctual their team is. They said that the team arrives on time and that they are quick to do the work.
However, some clients shared that the customer service is a bit unreliable. A few clients noted that they don’t pick up calls immediately.

Gleamworks Detailing is a detailing and coating studio that caters to cars and boats. They specialised in ceramic coatings, paint protection film, and other detailing services.
First thing we like about this company is that they’re certified and authorised in high-end coating product lines. That includes CarPro and Gtechniq ceramic coating. So, if you’re looking to install these coatings, Gleamworks might be a good fit for you.
For their boat detailing, they have exterior and interior detailing. From powerful wash to fabric protection, they have it. However, unlike other shops, we found their services very limited. They don’t offer repairs, which we think is also a must.
That aside, we love how professional the team is. Clients said that the detailing of their vessel was done on time and with care. The finish looks great and is of high quality.
Another thing that the clients mentioned about this company is that they don’t try to pressure you. They talk to their clients in a more practical way, no salesy tone.
However, we’re worried that they don’t have a mobile detailing service. They might not be the best choice if you’re looking for a service that comes to your marina.

Aloha Yacht Services LTD is a small team based in North Vancouver. They might be small, but their services are comprehensive, spanning all types of boat maintenance and detailing.
They cut, polish, and wax boats and yachts. They also have antifouling and new bottom paint services, which is great news for boat owners. If you’re also looking for interior detailing, they have a teak varnish.
Their portfolio also showed us the level of attention to detail they put into every detailing job. We saw how meticulous their process was and how efficiently they made a boat shine by using various tools.
We’re also glad that, unlike other detailing companies, they’re only focused on boats and yachts. This specialisation means they understand the unique care these marine vessels require.
We also love their location. They operate at Lions Gate Marina, which is easy to locate and is favourable for vessel owners.
Customers commend the owners, Olivia and Aloh, for their fantastic teamwork. They said that the team took their boat and made it look brand new again. They also shared that every corner of the boat was polished to perfection.
Aside from that, clients also enjoy how friendly and warm the service is. Some say that you’ll feel safe by the time you entrust your vessel to their team.
