If you’re strolling down Main Street, you have to swing by Friendlies Bar for a cocktail. The drinks here are something special—innovative and bursting with creativity.
If you’re in the mood for a mocktail, just toss a few flavor ideas their way, and they’ll craft something refreshing and delicious right on the spot. Plus, they make all their own syrups, which really sets their drinks apart.
The prices won’t break the bank either, the music is at just the right volume, and the overall vibe is laid-back and inviting. It’s one of those places where you feel comfortable hanging out for hours.

Their menu is solid, but don’t be afraid to explore beyond it. Ask for a “dealer’s choice,” and you’ll receive a custom creation.

If you’re into metal and rock, you’ve got to check out Jackalopes—it’s got a cool and fun atmosphere that’s hard to find elsewhere. Great beer, solid food, and metal music, all done right.
And here’s the kicker—they don’t just have one happy hour, they’ve got two every night!
The drink menu is a blast with draft beer, cocktails, boxed wine, and their signature drink, “The Beefback.” This one’s a Jackalope original—Canadian Club Rye with a shot of au jus.
As for the food, the nachos, Coop of the Damned sampler plate, and slow-cooked meats are definite standouts. It’s pub fare, but with a lot more care and flavor than your typical greasy bar food.
Pro tip:
It’s a small place, so it can get busy. They open at 5 pm, so I’d recommend getting there early if you want to snag a spot without a wait.

Boxcar has a vibe that you really need to experience in person—it’s got that special something you can’t quite capture in words.
The drink menu is huge, so there’s definitely something for everyone. If you’re into mixed drinks, I’d recommend trying the Honestley or Cheers—or why not both? They also have 24 taps with an awesome selection of beer and cider.
The inside has this long bar seat, vintage walls, and a cozy, narrow layout with old wood floors that give it a really cool dive bar vibe. It kind of feels like the sort of place you’d stumble upon underground in Berlin.

The indoor seating is great but limited. However, the outdoor patio and parking area provide a fantastic space to relax during the summer.

Tucked inside the newly renovated Rosewood Hotel Georgia, this lobby bar is a stunning homage to the opulent art-deco style of the 1920s, with just the right amount of modern flair.
The lineup of performers here is truly top-notch. Pair that with a nice selection of drinks and some delicious snacks like truffle fries, salt and pepper prawns, and chili chicken, and you’re in for a real treat.
It’s a bit of a splurge, but well worth it if you’re after a top-quality drink in a high-end setting with impeccable service. The culinary offerings here are just as impressive, with elevated small bites like “Caviar bumps”.

We tried the Philosopher’s Stone, the Elixir of Life, and the Transmutation, and all of them were both refreshing and potent. Their cocktails are definitely spirit-forward but still perfectly balanced with other flavors.
They also focus their food on pasta, pizza, and a solid selection of burgers. All pastas are only $14.95 that price on Mondays and Tuesdays. Pizzas are half price on Sundays, which is our favorite!
