Customer Reviews

Confident and accommodating instructors

“My experience with Vancouver Driving School was excellent. Although I have had my European license for quite some time, I haven’t been driving that much over the years so wouldn’t classify myself as a 100% confident driver. My instructor Gang was so helpful and his advice and calm demeanour made me feel a lot more confident. He gave me really good advice throughout our lessons, pointing out everything I could do better, but also giving me praise for the areas where I did well. Over the consecutive lessons, he honed in on the areas where I tended to be a bit sloppy in my driving and drilled home all the important parts that I should be aware of for my road test. I signed up for three lessons, and those lessons truly made all the difference for me as I went on to do my test feeling good about my driving and passed my class 5 license with no problem. Highly recommend Gang and Vancouver Driving School.” -Asa C.

Smooth process and prompt response to inquiries

“I had the best experience with Vancouver Driving School. Scheduling my in-car lessons based on my hectic schedule was a smooth process and the customer service team was very accommodating and fast to respond. Now, let’s talk about my driving instructor Thomas. I could not dream up a more perfect instructor. Thomas is the perfect blend of highly skilled, knowledgeable, passionate, personable, beyond patient and encouraging. I improved drastically under Thomas’ supervision and I credit him for gaining confidence behind the wheel. I could not recommend both Thomas and Vancouver Driving School highly enough. 10/10.” -Martina O.

Calm and informative lessons

“Best driving instructor in Vancouver. Alex’s lessons were calm, informative and really knowledgeable on all aspects of on-road driving and inside the vehicle. My favourite aspect is that he has his own YouTube channel explaining each manoeuvre/lesson in depth so that you can be practicing at home and preparing for your next lesson/driving test.” -Ben H.

Professional and fun learning process

“I am extremely happy that I made the right choice by choosing Alex as my driving instructor. He was very patient, informative and professional, and his sense of humor definitely made the whole learning process much more fun and effective. I am extremely thankful to Alex for his excellent coaching to prepare me for my class 5 road test. I never thought that I would pass my road test on my first attempt because it was in Richmond (known for having the highest failure rate). However, Alex helped me understand the rules of the road very well. I not only cleared my road test on my first attempt but also have become a better driver now. Alex also makes incredible videos on YouTube for his students to look back on what they have learned in class. I personally found them super helpful, since I tend to forget things a lot. I will highly recommend anyone who are looking for a driving instructor to SenSen driving school. Trust me, you won’t regret it!!.” -Kristine L.

Customer Reviews

Wonderful and accommodating instructors

“Thank you Mahdi and Omar for helping and preparing me for my road test! I have passed the test on first attempt. Both instructors are wonderful and they provide you with so many helpful tips. I did not have any driving experience before taking the lessons. And did not even hope to pass my road exam. However, Mahdi and Omar made me so comfortable and taught me so much! Special thanks to Sonia for accommodating me with the schedule. Thank you very much, Global Driving Academy!.” -Anastasia T.

Easy and comfortable lessons

“Thank you to the Global Driving Academy team! I just passed my class 5 road test on the first try! From the first interaction with Sonia, I knew the experience would be superb. After initially signing up for lessons with Young Drivers and having a terrible experience, Global Driving Academy was a breath of fresh air. Sonia was extremely courteous and always very accommodating. If you have the chance to select an instructor I HIGHLY recommend Omar. I cannot say enough good things about him and without him, I am sure I would not have passed on the first try. Very patient, knowledgeable, and on top of all that, an overall wonderful person. I truly enjoyed each and every lesson. I opted for the 45 minute warm-up lesson before taking my test (highly recommend doing this) and Omar was nothing but positive and reassuring the entire time. He definitely helped ease some of my fears and helped me go into the test calm and controlled. Thank you GDA team!!.” -Tiemey B.
