What I love most about stepping into a used furniture store is the endless possibilities – you never quite know what you’ll find!
When I decided to redecorate my apartment, I didn’t start with a fixed theme. Instead, I wandered through different shops and let inspiration guide me. Sure, it wasn’t the most organized plan, but it turned out to be the most fun.
Each unique piece I discovered added warmth and personality, making my space feel more like my own.

Thrift & Treasures is among the best used furniture stores in Vancouver because of two main things – its unique, stylish offerings and reasonable prices. Walking into their store just makes me want to redesign my apartment (again!).
Every corner is filled with carefully chosen pieces that feel both trendy and timeless, whether it’s a mid-century dresser or a quirky vintage lamp. It’s the kind of place where you can find one-of-a-kind items that instantly add personality to your home.
What I love most is how approachable the prices are compared to other vintage or secondhand stores in the city. We also appreciate that they post the available items on their social media pages for easy browsing.
However, there are two downsides worth noting. First, since their pieces are unique, inventory moves quickly – if you see something that you like, you’ll need to act fast.
Second, the store itself can feel a little cramped because of the small aisle space. This makes browsing tricky, especially on busy days.
Nevertheless, those small quirks still don’t outweigh the charm of this gem of a shop!
High quality & reasonably priced.
“Great local shop with a lot of high-quality curated items at reasonable prices. Pick up was super easy and a good documented inventory is kept on the shop’s instagram page for larger furniture items if you want to see if they have what you want / if it’s still available before going in. They also have a rewards program for each item you buy!”

Great vibe. Unique treasures & amazing finds!
“Absolutely love this little Gem of a store and the owners are even bigger Gems! Their store and owners help a great cause of building and supporting schools in El Salvador, fostering youth, and helping their community. The store has a great vibe – super helpful and friendly & all items are in great condition. They really do have unique treasures and amazing finds. I love their clothing and furniture!”

Anizco is a hidden gem for anyone who loves hunting for bargains and practical, long-lasting furniture. The shop is a 10,000-square-foot warehouse filled with everything from solid wood hotel dressers to decor and linens.
Most of their inventory comes from well-known hotels across Vancouver, meaning the pieces are built tough and designed to last.
What makes Anizco stand out even more is its unbeatable pricing. You can often find sturdy side tables for as little as $50 or a well-made ottoman for under $20.
Because it’s family-run, the atmosphere is refreshingly low-pressure. I found the staff to be friendly, approachable, and genuinely happy to help. They don’t hover, which makes browsing the aisles a relaxed experience.
At the same time, the store’s warehouse-style setup can feel overwhelming. So finding exactly what you’re looking for sometimes requires a bit of patience and digging.
It’s great that they also offer delivery, and most customers found the service to be smooth and efficient. However, some shoppers mentioned some missing items from their order upon arrival.
Also, take note that they’re closed on Mondays and Sundays. The good thing is you can still browse their website for available items.
Quality furniture & decor.
“Breathtaking selection of quality furniture and decor. Real wood, real quality, and real people giving incredible service. Upcycling is so important. This family business is a cornerstone of Vancouver.”

Amazing selection, high quality, & great prices.
“Total HIDDEN GEM – my partner and I were going to buy furniture from IKEA and stopped here on a whim. We couldn’t believe the selection and prices, not to mention super friendly staff. The pieces we bought ended up being higher quality, more affordable, and bonus – more sustainable for the environment. Amazing experience.”

Specializing in mid-century modern and postmodern finds, Relove offers pieces that are not only beautiful but also thoughtfully restored and full of character.
Owner Liliana is at the heart of this charm. Her impeccable taste and genuine warmth shine through in everything from the layout of the shop to the way she shares the history of each item.
Customers often rave about how she goes the extra mile, whether it’s sending preview photos or even arranging cross-province shipping.
However, since inventory is handpicked and unique, pieces don’t stay on the floor for long. If you hesitate, there’s a good chance the item you love will be gone by your next visit.
Prices also run higher than the average secondhand store. Many shoppers, though, feel that the craftsmanship and curation make it worthwhile.
It’s also important to take note that Tuesdays to Fridays are by appointment only. But they’re available online 24/7 for orders and inquiries.
Thoughtfully curated vintage with amazing taste.
“What a wonderful store! Liliana has amazing taste and has curated a high quality, unique range of vintage furniture and decor. She’s made it her priority to have high knowledge of and stories about all her products, speaking to her thoughtfulness as a business owner. Definitely worth stopping by!”

Charming shop with passionate vintage curation.
“This is one of my favorite local shops in Vancouver for anything uniquely vintage. Liliana has the BEST taste and is also the loveliest shop owner… The time she takes to revive all the items in her shop back to their original glory, educate customers on their origin and history makes each piece even more special. Her dedication and passion for her craft makes me want to continue shopping here forever. You will not be disappointed when visiting, that’s a promise!”

Since 1988, Attic Treasures has been a beloved destination for Vancouver’s mid-century modern enthusiasts. Their impressive selection of furniture from the 1930s to 1970s feels like a walk back in time.
We love that each piece is carefully chosen for its style and quality, and the overall showroom is neatly organized and refreshingly easy to browse.
Unlike some thrift-style shops, they present items like a boutique – polished, welcoming, and full of inspiration for anyone looking to add a touch of vintage charm to their home.
The condition of their furniture is another highlight. Many pieces are in excellent shape, requiring little to no restoration. It’s great to hear from customers how rare it is to find such well-preserved items.
That said, the quality and curation are reflected in the pricing. Some shoppers find the costs higher than expected.
And because the store is a popular weekend stop, it can feel a bit crowded, which takes away from the otherwise relaxed browsing experience.
Despite these, Attic Treasures continues to stand out as one of Vancouver’s finest spots for well-kept vintage furniture.
Great selection, affordable.
“Went there last weekend to find some teak chairs – this place has a great selection of furniture and everything was affordable (ESPECIALLY for teak furniture!). I bought a set of 4 beautiful chairs and I am super happy with them. Everything is in good condition and well cared for. I am on the hunt for a teak sideboard and will definitely go back to Attic Treasures to find one!”

Their inventory is updated weekly and full of modern, on-trend pieces that are still in excellent condition but priced far below retail. They showcase brands like Article, Structube, and Scan Design.
For example, a sectional that originally sold for nearly $4,000 can be found here for around $1,200. For anyone furnishing a living room on a budget, it’s an incredible deal!
What makes this store stand out is its clear focus on sustainability. By rescuing and refurbishing quality pieces, they help reduce waste while making good design accessible.
It’s great that delivery options include same-day service. This makes it even easier for customers to bring home their finds without the hassle of renting a truck.
While they have a wide selection of sofas and sectionals, you won’t find much variety of other types of furniture here. Also, shopping requires some planning since booking an appointment is recommended.
Great condition. Fair prices.
“I recently bought a used couch from here and I’m really happy with my purchase. The couch was in great condition for being second-hand, very clean, and exactly as described. The staff were friendly, honest, and made the buying process easy. Prices were fair compared to other second-hand stores I checked out. Overall, I’d definitely recommend them if you’re looking for good quality furniture without paying brand-new prices.”
