NationWide Self Storage is another reputable company located close to Downtown. Their place looks modern and well-maintained, so there’s no chance I’ll miss them.
First things first, I’m impressed with their over 800 climate-controlled and solid storage units. They’re excellent options for valuable and sensitive items as they protect them from dust, weather, and moisture.
Another great thing is that they have enterprise-level security and easy keyless lockers powered by the NOKE app. I mean, that’s a great feature, giving you a sense of safety and convenience.
Many customers also love their app, saying they don’t need physical keys anymore to access their unit. Plus, the fact that you can assign temporary access to others as well in case of emergencies is such a very convenient feature.
However, their digital lock system can sometimes fail. This can be so stressful if there are no staff available.
Also, their prices are a bit higher compared to others. But I still find their rates reasonable given the smart access system, fully-secured building, and cleanliness.

Storguard Self Storage Vancouver caught my interest when they renovated the historic industrial Canada Packers meatpacking plant. The place now looks modern, secure, and clean, while still keeping that industrial vibe.
Apart from that, I like that they offer a wide range of unit sizes. For instance, they have small or compact units. This is perfect for those who want to store small items or seasonal stuff.
They also have larger units for maximum storage. This is ideal for homes and businesses that need plenty of storage space.
Since they also have a huge space, there’s a huge area to back up your vehicle to unload. This is a huge plus, especially for people who have heavy objects to move in and out of the facility.
Most of the staff are friendly and helpful. They’re great to deal with and quick to respond to your needs, such as upgrading to a larger locker. Many customers mentioned the staff member, Oliver, for being accommodating.
However, their front desk staff is not that consistent. While some customers had great experiences, others mentioned that the front desk staff is a bit rude. Not a dealbreaker, but it’s something they could improve for a seamless experience.

Sentinel Storage is on my list because of its simple and hassle-free process. You can easily reserve and sign your agreement online, and voila, your storage unit is ready.
I also love this company because they don’t fall last when it comes to their storage options. From interior storage units to climate-controlled ones, they have it. You can also choose between self-storage and portable storage.
Surprisingly, they also cater to car, RV, and boat storage. Not many facilities offer that kind of flexibility, so I’m glad I found Sentinel. This is perfect for those who need larger spaces.
Inside, their facility is well-lit and secured with security and video surveillance. Loading docks are also spacious.
Plus, outdoor parking is also great. Plenty of space for cars, trucks, and trailers during transport.
Staff are friendly and accommodating, with a helpful point of contact over the phone and in person. They explain the rental contract very well and answer questions you may have. They also take their time to show the available units on-site.
However, note that their rates can increase after a few months. It’s not that uncommon, especially in the storage industry. But, if you’re planning to rent long-term, it’s something to keep in mind.
