Today, we’re revealing one gem in particular: Stearman Beach. So grab your sunscreen and beach towel, because this hidden paradise is about to become your new favorite escape.
Things to Know about Stearman Beach
Stearman Beach is quite small in size compared to other West Vancouver beaches. It offers a small parking area accommodating around half a dozen cars, each with a 3-hour parking limit.
Stearman Beach has a bedrock foundation, and has small deltas and a broad gravelly foreshore. This means it’s composed of sandy or gravelly sediments that are naturally replenished by the tides and waves.
Stearman Beach is famed for its unique rock formations, shaped by years of ocean wave erosion. These stunning shapes and textures create a picturesque backdrop, perfect for photography enthusiasts.
Stearman Beach provides street parking options for visitors, typically free of charge. If the main lot is full, you can park on nearby streets, but be sure to observe the parking signs, as most areas have a 3-hour limit.
Unfortunately, there are no washrooms at Stearman Beach, so it’s best to plan ahead and use the facilities before arriving.
Best Time to Go to Stearman Beach
The best time to go to Stearman Beach is from March and May, or from September to November. During these months, you’ll enjoy mild weather and more affordable hotel rates, ensuring a comfortable and budget-friendly trip.
