1. Masala India Bistro

Masala India Bistro is a casual restaurant in Langley that serves authentic Indian cuisine and a sizable lunch buffet.
They serve traditional and fusion Indian dishes, like curries, tandoori, and fusion dishes, and you can eat there, take them out, or have them delivered.

The servers at this restaurant are fantastic; they know their customers by name and make recommendations based on what they’ve ordered in the past.
We can’t tell you how many times we’ve tried something new based on their recommendations and ended up loving it.
We were also pleasantly surprised at how quickly our orders arrived, and the portions were just right, so we left feeling satisfied.

We recommend you order their “Chicken Tikka Masala”. It’s delicious, not too spicy, and the masala sauce is very creamy. This dish pairs perfectly with garlic naan bread by dipping it or eating it with basmati rice.
Masala India Bistro is open seven days a week and can also cater for all kinds of events, no matter how big or small. They also have a large selection of gluten-free and vegan dishes, as well as dishes that don’t use meat.
They also host special events such as Bollywood karaoke nights, during which they play popular songs from the Bollywood film industry and allow customers to sing along with them while they enjoy Indian food and drinks.
2. The Great Indian Restaurant

We stumbled into The Great Indian Restaurant mainly because we could smell the aroma of spices and curries from the street. Once inside, we immediately ordered a bunch of tandoori specials and lamb curry, which were both delicious.
We also got a bunch of other items on their menu but we can’t deny that their signature dish, the biryani, is a must-try for anyone who loves flavorful and aromatic rice dishes.

But our top pick has got to be their “Punjabi Samosa”. This pastry-filled dish is the perfect appetizer as it goes well with almost all of their main dishes, especially the Chicken Tikka Masala.

They also have a wide range of specialties, such as tandoori, chicken, seafood, meat, and many more. The tandoori chicken is juicy, and the curries are fragrant, but each dish has its own unique flavor that we couldn’t help but keep ordering more.
3. An Indian Affair

We heard that An Indian Affair is the place to go for healthy Indian food, so naturally, we went to see and get a taste for ourselves.
The chefs were kind enough to answer our questions about their cooking techniques, and we learned that they reduce the amount of oil and chili by using a small number of olive oil blends and organic food products.

While for a second there, we thought that this would affect the taste of their dishes, we were nothing but completely wrong. The restaurant offers a decent Indian buffet with a wide variety of good dishes.
The butter chicken was not overly sweet and had just the right amount of spice, while the goat vindaloo was incredibly fiery. The Tandoori Chicken, Zucchini Masala, and Aloo Curry were all equally delicious as well.

If you’re planning to visit An Indian Affair, we think you should try one of the chef’s special Goat Curry. This dish is a classic Indian delicacy made with fresh goat meat, cooked in a thick gravy of onions, tomatoes, and spices.
An Indian Affair also has gluten-free and vegan options, as well as a large selection of wines from the area to go with their food.
4. Biryani Point

Biryani Point is a delivery and takeout restaurant in Langley that serves Indian Biryani as well as a variety of Indian appetizers, curries, and desserts.
This Indian restaurant is popular for its flavorful and savory biryanis, which are cooked with a combination of spices, herbs, and quality ingredients.

But perhaps what captured our taste is “Mutton Dum Biryani”. The dish is made with succulent pieces of mutton, slow-cooked with fragrant basmati rice and a blend of aromatic spices. It’s a must-try for anyone who loves bold and complex flavors.

Their chicken dum biryani is also a must-try, as it consists of succulent chicken pieces marinated in spices, herbs, and yogurt and served with aromatic basmati rice. This dish is available in single and family packs that serve up to six individuals.
You may also try other biryani options such as Veg Dum, Egg Dum, Chicken Dum, and many others prepared using the restaurant’s original recipes and made with raitha and mirchi ka salan.
The restaurant also offers a wide range of appetizers and desserts that complement the biryani perfectly, such as double ka meetha, gulab jamun, and bobbatlu.
5. AHA Indian Food Paradise

AHA Indian Food Paradise has got to be one of the most beautifully presented foods we’ve seen. Look them up online through their website or Facebook page, and you’ll get what we’re talking about.
We ordered from their main course menu, which included chicken tikka masala and butter chicken, and we have to say, the flavors were rich and authentic, and the portions were generous, so we were happy with that.

We also had the opportunity to chat with the restaurant’s Dubai-trained chef, who was kind enough to approach us and explain the inspiration behind the restaurant’s signature dishes and menu.
Additionally, he suggested some must-try items that we enjoyed greatly. This includes, among others, paneer tikka, stuffed paneer kulcha, and chicken tikka kulcha.

We highly recommend you pair your meals with their gulab jamun, which are Indian-style donuts dipped in sugar syrup.
This dessert is served in two pieces, making it a great option for sharing between two people. The gulab jamun is a perfect ending to your meal as it combines sweetness with a light texture.
The restaurant also offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options, as well as Indian-inspired desserts such as gulab jamun, ras malai, and ka meetha.
To see more of their menu, customers can visit their website or Instagram where they regularly post updates and specials.
6. Raghu’s Biryani Drive

Raghu’s Biryani Drive’s main appeal is the man behind it all, Chef Raghu. We must say that his biryani is particularly distinctive, as the rice bursts with savory notes and the careful selection of ingredients resulted in the perfect balance of flavors.

Customers can choose from vegetarian, egg, lamb, and chicken biryanis, all cooked to perfection with aromatic spices and basmati rice.

Out of all their Biryani dishes, we highly recommend you try the Hyderabadi Veg Paneer Biryani.
It’s an assortment of exotic herbs and spices combined with Basmati rice to make this delicious dish, which is then topped with cilantro and cashew garnish.
The restaurant also offers a range of appetizers and desserts to complement the main course, such as shahi tukuda, sheer khurma, and double kameetha.
If you can’t get enough of their biryanis just like us, well it’s good news that they can also do family-sized and bulk orders, but you have to order eight hours in advance because they like to use fresh ingredients and need time to prepare large orders.
7. Apna Indian Kitchen

Apna Indian Kitchen is known for its creative Indian dishes, as they make sure to retain the original flavors of India while making sure their products are affordable.
We ordered the Chilli Chicken and Jaipuri Seekh Kebab, and it’s safe to say we will be coming back for this. The chicken was tender inside out, and the kebabs were fresh and had great flavor.

Our favorite is the mixed vegetables at Apna Indian Kitchen because it’s made with fresh vegetables tossed with onions, tomatoes, gravy, and a touch of India’s makhni sauce. It’s a popular side dish that can also be served as the main course.

The restaurant also had great vibes from Hindi music and the staff were very accommodating as they made sure to ask if we needed anything and asking how the food was.
8. Indian Accent Restaurant

The Indian Accent Restaurant is one of the most well-known Indian restaurants in Langley as it pairs classic Indian flavors and dishes with contemporary cooking techniques.

The portions of their dishes are generous, served on copper and silver plates. Although we would’ve liked it more if the food had been seasoned a bit more.
However, we got an extra order of butter sauce to make up for it, and they were kind enough to provide it for free.
The servers were also all very friendly, and they helped us pick must-try items on their menu. We settled on ordering the combo specials so we could taste a little bit of everything.

We highly suggest you order one of their lunch specials, which includes a complete meal. One order includes one chef’s special curry, one side curry, naan, rice, and dessert.
9. Rosie’s Curry & Spice Kitchen

When we first set out, we weren’t sure if we’d be able to find Rosie’s Curry & Spice Kitchen, but their bright red food truck was impossible to miss. They had a large sign with their name and menu painted on their truck too.
As we got closer to the truck, we could smell their delicious Indian food. Their menu includes butter chicken, tandoori chicken burgers, pakora, and veggie samosas, among other options.

Their butter chicken is especially good. The sauce is rich and creamy, and the spices are just right.

Their butter chicken with rice is a must-order because it’s flavorful, the spices are perfectly balanced, and the texture is ideal. In addition, the basmati rice adds a creamy texture to each bite.
10. India’s Most Wanted Restaurant

India’s Most Wanted Restaurant aims to preserve the quality and authenticity of their Indian dishes. Most Indian restaurants focus on just one type of food, but this one wants to show off food from all over India.

The presentation of their dishes was particularly appealing, plus the interior of the restaurant was very modern looking, so we were definitely satisfied and comfortable. So much so that we pretty much ordered everything on the menu.
From what we’ve tasted, we can tell that the star of most of their dishes were their homemade aromatic sauces, as they definitely heightened the taste of all the dishes we tried.

While we recommend all their main dishes, we think that you should order their Golgappa as it’s the perfect side dish. It has a sweet and spicy taste and a crispy exterior that goes perfectly with their main courses.
11. Ashoka Indian Restaurant

The Ashoka Indian Restaurant is a casual eatery that specializes in a variety of tandoori and biryani dishes. Their dishes are overpowering with spices, but the accompanying salad and sides are soothing.

The food arrived right away, and we appreciated that the food we ordered wasn’t overly spicy because none of us were really up for chewing ice by the end of our meals.
The Butter Chicken’s mildly spicy taste and their naan bread were definitely our favorite combination, and we liked that it comes with rice as this left us feeling very full and ready for dessert.

We highly recommend their Tandoori Chicken Tikka as a delicious, flavorful option for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Indian dish. This dish has a slightly spicy taste and the chicken complements the cream sauce.
We ordered the Ras Malai for dessert, and it was the perfect ending to our meal as the sweetness balanced out the spices of the Butter Chicken.
That concludes our list of the best Indian restaurants in Langley. So the next time you feel hungry and want to find a good Indian restaurant, we would recommend you to try one of these restaurants.
