Find the Best Vestibular & Balance Clinics in Vancouver

We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

Advanced Diagnostic Technology: We looked closely at clinics using specialized diagnostic tools to track your progress accurately.

Employing equipment like immersive virtual reality or infrared video goggles ensures your symptoms are properly isolated and measured.

Specialized Certification: It was important to select clinics whose staff hold advanced post-graduate qualifications in Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT).

Having specific experience in neuro-rehabilitation means you receive targeted care from true experts.

Multidisciplinary Integration: We prioritized health centers that actively coordinate with other specialists, such as neuro-optometrists and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) doctors.

This collaborative approach treats the whole patient, especially when dealing with complex inner-ear pathologies.

Wait Times & Accessibility: Knowing how disorienting acute vertigo can be, we focused on places that offer fast booking availability. Prioritizing centers that schedule assessments within 24 to 48 hours helps you find relief sooner.

As someone who has struggled with unexpected dizzy spells, I know how terrifying it feels when the room won’t stop spinning. It makes simple daily tasks feel like an impossible challenge.

Contact: 778-800-2289

Hours: Monday to Friday 8:00AM–5:00PM

StabilityLAB truly shines by offering Computerized Vestibular Retraining Therapy (CVRT), which uses interactive technology to dynamically track your progress.

When I accompanied a friend struggling with post-concussion symptoms here, I saw firsthand how their exclusive Bertec virtual reality system quantifies function instead of just relying on guesswork.

It felt incredibly reassuring to see such structured, evidence-based regimens in action, following the peer-reviewed DaVID protocol.

You can fast-track your care because they don’t require a doctor’s referral to start recovery. This direct accessibility, paired with an integrated team of clinical experts, makes navigating multifaceted balance disorders much smoother.

The only downside is that their advanced neuro-technology is not covered under the standard Medical Services Plan (MSP), requiring you to rely on extended health benefits or out-of-pocket payments.

Pros

  • Quick appointment availability
  • Objective data tracking
  • Highly specialized diagnostic equipment
  • Integrated multidisciplinary team

Cons

  • Not covered under standard public health insurance

I struggled for months with vertigo, dizziness, and nausea that made daily life hard. I visited Stability Labs, and vestibular rehab program helped me see improvement within a few sessions. I finally feel steady and able to manage my day-to-day again.

After a sudden concussion from a sports injury, I was left with persistent dizziness and balance problems. Daily tasks felt daunting, and I wasn’t sure how long it would take to improve. StabilityLAB evaluated my condition carefully and created a personalized treatment plan. I’m still recovering, but I’m noticing steady progress and starting to feel more in control of my movements.

Patients seeking highly specialized inner-ear care often end up at the Audio-Vestibular Diagnostic Clinic. It operates within a major teaching hospital to provide research-backed methodologies.

This facility utilizes a top-tier diagnostic suite to conduct precise evaluations, employing techniques rarely accessible in standard community clinics.

Care here is strictly administered by audiologists with advanced credentials rather than general physical therapists, ensuring deep expertise in complex cases.

They even have audiologists specifically trained to physically maneuver patients to correct Benign Paroxysmal Positional Vertigo (BPPV).

We find it incredibly helpful that they offer comprehensive interpretation services for non-English speakers and a dedicated wellness team for Indigenous families.

However, you can’t simply book an appointment yourself — you have to be processed through an ENT doctor first to gain access.

Pros

  • Around-the-clock language interpretation
  • Dedicated Indigenous patient support
  • Expertise in severe inner-ear disorders
  • Precise eye movement tracking

Cons

  • Requires a specialist referral
  • Lacks comprehensive rehab for non-BPPV issues

Erica is very professional and helpful. Her diagnosis and prognosis for my symptoms are very detailed and useful for my journey toward full recovery. Her follow-up and willingness to work with me without extended health insurance coverage is assuring about her genuine care for patients than only getting business alone.

What a lifesaver!! As an expert on vestibular issues, it was absolutely fantastic to get Erica’s high tech and thorough assessment and confirmation of my issue. I came away with incredibly valuable data about my condition, and a pathway forward. She’s a godsend and I feel so lucky to have found her. She’s also so kind with such a wonderful bedside manner.

LEgacies Health Centre treats the whole patient through a multidisciplinary care model where multiple practitioners collaborate on complex balance cases.

I personally visited this clinic after a minor car accident, and their dedicated injury recovery protocols were explicitly formulated to help me regain my footing.

They implement custom motion regimens to retrain neural pathways, actively working to eliminate feelings of unsteadiness.

Plus, it’s very convenient that you can directly book these specialized treatments without waiting for clearance from your family doctor, making it easier to see a chiropractor in Vancouver alongside your vestibular therapist.

Patients can also easily access alternative modalities under the same roof, which really helps regulate the overall nervous system.

Unfortunately, you do have to sit through an extended baseline assessment before they initiate any hands-on relief, which delays the start of your physical therapy.

Pros

  • Faster healing timelines
  • Access to complementary treatments
  • Numerous locations with flexible scheduling
  • Direct billing to major health providers

Cons

  • Lengthy initial evaluation required
  • Mandatory administrative and clinical clearance

I always see Danny at the North Vancouver branch, and he’s been outstanding. He is extremely knowledgeable and a very good listener—he really takes the time to understand my concerns. I especially appreciate his excellent communication skills; he explains everything clearly, answers questions patiently, and makes sure I feel informed and comfortable every step of the way. Thanks to his expert care and approachable style, my sessions are effective, enjoyable, and have made a real difference in my recoveries. I highly recommend Danny and the team.

Dr. Makh is reassuringly clear-spoken, knowledgeable and competent, and the front staff are kind, professional, and helpful. I’ve never had difficulty scheduling an appointment in a timely manner, and have always left feeling better than I entered 🙂

Decades of operational history give Treloar Physiotherapy Clinic a deep understanding of tailored patient care. Their care programs are highly comprehensive, blending physical habituation exercises with gaze stability training to help you find your footing.

They also evaluate specialized metrics like eye movement tracking and motion sensitivity rather than relying solely on standard physical tests.

When you start your treatment here, you can choose between two distinct time lengths for your initial vestibular evaluation, accommodating different symptom severity levels.

The administrative team is incredibly helpful, minimizing out-of-pocket expenses by coordinating payment processing directly with extended benefit providers.

Just be mindful of their scheduling policies; patients with Monday appointments face highly restrictive Saturday deadlines to modify their bookings without incurring severe financial penalties.

Pros

  • Option to transition to telehealth
  • Targets sensitivity to bright lights and noises
  • Coordinates direct billing seamlessly
  • Waives penalty fees for sudden sickness

Cons

  • Strict weekend cancellation cutoffs
  • Steep late cancellation financial penalties

I’ve been seeing Serena for vestibular system issues and she’s been amazing! I had been dealing with unexplained balance and dizziness and after giving me a thorough assessment and exercises, the symptoms recovered quite quickly. Highly recommend!

My experience with Treloar has been been remarkable. Everyone at this clinic is kind and welcoming. I would like to personally thank Matt Szeto for his amazing care and service during my vestibular physiotherapy sessions. Not only is Matt extremely knowledgeable in his field, but he is the epitome of a good physiotherapist; kind, patient and educated.

10/10 experience, 10/10 people.

Having on-site imaging accelerates the assessment timeline, allowing for highly accurate care planning without needing external referrals.

The clinic also utilizes exclusive, patented devices to address complex disc issues alongside its vestibular care.

We love that patients benefit from a diverse group of integrated health practitioners under one roof, making it easy to consult an osteopath in Vancouver if needed.

The only drawback is how difficult it is to find a parking spot prior to your appointment.

Pros

  • Access to a diverse multidisciplinary team
  • Sophisticated objective diagnostic methods
  • Focuses on long-term injury prevention
  • Expansive and flexible operational hours

Cons

  • Frustrating parking issues
  • Closed completely on Sundays

I definitely recommend the clinic. They are extremely easy to locate being directly across from the train station. The costs are very reasonable, especially when comparing to other physio clinics around the area and they are able to direct bill insurance. I will definitely be recommending Aamir for any kind of vestibular rehabilitation, he really knows what he’s doing and cares about your outcome.

Dr. Suhill Samji accepted me without an appointment because I suffered a lot. Already after the first visit passed the pain of the shoulder and hand, headaches, I regained the feeling in my hands and gradually regained balance and it was the first night for a long time, when I slept well. With each therapy I felt only better.

I still use therapy because I found that it serves me better than other therapies. The massage I use in the same place also helps me. Thanks to this place, I regained my desire for life and fitness.
