The OEB Breakfast Co. strives to offer a streamlined brunch experience using a few classic, but well-made dishes.  Their brunch menu mainly consists of your run-of-the-mill, eggs benedict, potatoes, pork, and bagels.

But these folks take their normal dishes and kick them up a notch using special ingredients like duck fat, poached lobster, and fresh herbs.  Among their offerings, OEB’s specialty savory crepes are the subject of great reviews all around.

Chambar was opened in 2004 by Nico Schuermans and his partner Karri.  With a background in both two and three-star Michelin restaurants, Nico is able to provide a unique fine-dining brunch experience that is unique to this establishment.

The brunch menu for Chambar consists of french omelets, smoked fish, braised short ribs, and even Latin recipes like paella.  This wide collection of culinary delights is no doubt thanks to Nico’s Michelin star experience.

Beyond 11:30, the house begins to serve mussels paired with various white wine or coconut cream sauces.  Complementing all this savory goodness is a collection of desserts such as creme brulee, cakes, cheeses, and fruits.

The Twisted Fork is a no-nonsense brunch restaurant with a fixed set of brunch dishes available for clients to choose from.  While this may seem like a hindrance, it gives them the opportunity to invest more time and resources in the quality of their meals.

Grab a seat at this prolific spot and you’ll find yourself treated to brioche french toast, sourdough buns, house-made jam, freshly baked pita bread, and more.  The use of a set menu also makes choosing a meal much easier, which is handy if you’ve been in line for a while.

Alongside classic brunch cocktails, you’ll find a lengthy list of sweet and sour reds and whites to pair with any of this eatery’s dishes.

 Now if there’s one issue diners might have with this place it’s the fact that they don’t have an extensive dessert list.

But given the fact that brunch isn’t really known for dessert, it’s an understandable decision.  And, though it doesn’t quite count as a dessert, this restaurant’s banana bread does manage to satisfy many people’s sweet tooth.
