We extensively test and research all services we review. Here's why you can trust us.

High-End Amenities: We looked for inviting ways to thaw out. Heated pools, saunas, and private spas stood out.

Room Versatility: We checked options for different group sizes. Couples’ suites and spacious family estates made the cut.

Extra Services: We valued help with lift tickets and equipment rentals. Complimentary village shuttles earned extra points.

Overall Value: We weighed nightly rates against the perks. We factored in resort fees, parking charges, and complimentary extras.

Getting the whole ski crew under one roof needn’t mean drawing straws for a decent bedroom. Wedge Mountain Lodge & Spa offers ten en-suite king bedrooms across a private, 12,000-square-foot retreat.

We like that two bedrooms include bunk beds for children. Families can keep their little ones close while everyone enjoys space to spread out.

And for ski days, concierge support helps coordinate group arrangements. You’ll need to allow around 12 minutes by vehicle to reach the lifts, though.

Back at the lodge, the private Nordic-inspired spa makes unwinding together especially appealing. Your group gets the facilities entirely to yourselves!

The evening can then roll into a film at the 18-seat movie theatre. There are even reclining seats for a cozy finish to an active day.

Do note that you’ll need to book the entire lodge. This setup may not suit couples looking to reserve just one room.

Pros

  • Ten en-suite king bedrooms
  • Two bedrooms with additional bunk beds
  • Exclusive Nordic-inspired spa access
  • Private 18-seat movie theatre
  • Concierge support

Cons

“Beyond 5 stars!”

I just experienced a remarkable holiday at the Wedge Mountain Lodge and Spa in Whistler that is beyond 5 stars! A privilege really to stay there. The finest food from Chef Bill; the staff are exceptional, and any request/need is fulfilled. Stunning architecture with every detail added, including concierge car service, pools, theatre, gym, massage, and the most comfortable beds. Views of Whistler’s finest mountains on all sides… It was a dream holiday!!

“Far superior to the majority of 5-star hotels”

Over the years, I’ve had the fortunate opportunity to visit luxury resorts and travel destinations, but the team at Wedge have truly raised the bar. From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home; the level of detail put into our reservation surpassed our expectations. The amenities and rooms were far superior to the majority of 5-star hotels I’ve stayed at around the world, and the private chef dining experience was unforgettable. If you get a chance to book and stay here, don’t pass it up.

“The service has been exceptional.”

This is our first time staying at the Four Seasons in Whistler, and the service has been exceptional. The staff are all very friendly, attentive and thoughtful. The spa at the hotel is quite pricey, but the service and overall experience are absolutely worth it. Even if you don’t ski, it’s a perfect place for a getaway. There are plenty of facilities and activities to enjoy without ever leaving the hotel, and the restaurants on site are all of a very high standard.

“The staff and service were unbeatable.”

We had a great stay with kids and grandparents for Spring Break! The staff and service were unbeatable. Mitch in particular went out of his way multiple times to make the trip special for us and especially our kids. Ski concierge and shuttle services were amazing. As was the buffet breakfast. We can’t wait to return!

“A perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and mountain hospitality”

Wonderful stay at the Fairmont Chateau Whistler. The ski-in, ski-out access is truly exceptional and made our time on the mountain completely seamless. The ski valet adds an extra level of convenience and service that makes the experience feel effortless. The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the amenities throughout the property are excellent. A perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and mountain hospitality—an outstanding place to stay in Whistler.

“This picture postcard chateau.”

Stayed for a week at this picture postcard chateau. The Gold package is incredible, with the ease of checking in to the food! The ski valet service was excellent, and the hot chocolate after 4 pm was a lovely bonus. The rooms – with fireplaces – were lovely, and the bathtub was frequently used after a day on the slopes. Loved the accommodation!

We like how Nita Lake Lodge swaps village bustle for a lakeside breather. Its Creekside setting offers a romantic escape with mountain adventures nearby.

Even the Studio Suites offer 500 square feet to settle into. Double soaker tubs and basalt gas fireplaces make thawing out rather luxurious.

For extra pampering, the on-site spa gives your downtime some direction. We appreciate having treatments close without planning another outing.

“Laid-back luxury with all the amenities you’d expect”

If one can do without the hustle and bustle of Whistler Village, then the Nita Lake Lodge at Creekside is your place. Off the beaten path in a quaint, picturesque setting. Laid-back luxury with all the amenities you’d expect from a Michelin-awarded hotel. From hands-on management to the front desk to housekeeping, the entire staff is SUPER friendly and personable. On-site food and restaurant choices are absolute on par with what else Whistler has to offer. The lounge is the perfect hang-out Après ski or after dinner or anytime on an iffy-weather day…

“Understated luxury in a dazzling natural setting.”

Nita Lake Lodge offers understated luxury in a dazzling natural setting. The hotel itself is set next to Nita Lake, a perfect place for relaxing on a patio in summer or skating in winter. I visited in the fall on business and was taken by the expansive facilities that seem to offer something for everyone, especially families. The restaurants, cafes, bars in addition to well-appointed meeting rooms makes Nita Lake Lodge a place I will return to come ski season. I look forward to warming up apres ski around their massive fireplace…

“Best located hotel in Whistler Village for ski access.”

Best located hotel in Whistler Village for ski access. Our very tall family of 5 adults had plenty of space in a 2-bedroom, 2-bath room, with fabulous views from the 6th floor. Service was professional but friendly, with any request met within minutes. The room was quiet, comfortable and cozy with an ambient fire. Love the free Apres gathering in the afternoons, the hot tub, gym, on-site laundry facilities and ski locker. Best ski holiday our family has had. We’ll definitely be back.

— G M | Google Review

“The location is absolutely perfect”

Stayed here for 5 days. The staff were incredibly professional and courteous. The hotel is directly at the base of Whistler Mountain. The mountainside view is amazing; however, the hotel is close enough to the hill that you can’t see all of it. The location is absolutely perfect if you want to stay as close as possible to a chairlift or gondola. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you want to be treated well and have easy access to the hill.
